Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Téo Mello kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, El Millo de Haedo's goal looked a bit too open when Valeri Hadzhisotirov came free, but Fernando Ruisko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimcho Fuskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Olguín recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Mello in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Téo Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Ruisko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Téo Mello's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Téo Mello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Ruisko having to make a save. Téo Mello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Ruisko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Hernán Crespo in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eliseo Moreno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Téo Mello in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Ruisko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cup2's Tzvetoslav Pehlivanov got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 31 minutes, Tzvetoslav Pehlivanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cup2 and the El Millo de Haedo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tzvetoslav Pehlivanov hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Téo Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Valeri Hadzhisotirov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of El Millo de Haedo's Fernando Ruisko. Fernando Ruisko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Téo Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Fernando Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernán Crespo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Téo Mello might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Ruisko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Téo Mello ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Hernán Crespo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Moreno was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Fernando Ruisko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Jorge Olguín left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Millo de Haedo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Pedro Gonzalez came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the El Millo de Haedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Gonzalez couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the game, El Millo de Haedo's Hernán Crespo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 76thth minute of the game Hernán Crespo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cup2's Eliseo Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Maximino Rosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernán Crespo's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Hernán Crespo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cup2's Eliseo Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Ereinotz during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, El Millo de Haedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Ereinotz to maneuver through the defense. If Téo Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Cup2's Téo Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Ruisko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Crespo in the 95th minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Eliseo Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Millo de Haedo had won after a very even match.
