The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Mitxaut got free with Percival Prestes in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Guillermo Mitxaut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Percival Prestes, 2-0. A collision led to REAL VASCO RIO getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Pedrão Souza hit a great ball. After 24 minutes REAL VASCO RIO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Prudencio Socorro who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 44 in the game by Guillermo Mitxaut from a close distance when the talented Percival Prestes managed to make a qualified save. REAL VASCO RIO's players were relieved. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Alaminos in the 48th minute of play. Miguel Alaminos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 48th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

52 minutes into the game, José Pedro Simão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. REAL VASCO RIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorroarín the free kick. After a rather tough play, REAL VASCO RIO's José Pedro Simão got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Guillermo Mitxaut scored 5-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Percival Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, REAL VASCO RIO's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Mitxaut came free, but Percival Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes REAL VASCO RIO got a freekick which was hit by Caco de Souza. In the 69th minute Nicolas Betadur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match REAL VASCO RIO got a corner. Chorroarín's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Percival Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Percival Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Romero in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Timoteo Arotza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percival Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After some careless play in the REAL VASCO RIO defense, Eustacio Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival Prestes. The REAL VASCO RIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival Prestes should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Durvalino Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
