Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zbyszko Tusk started the match with the kick off. Stoyo Kamenarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Edoardo Meo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Armando Bonelli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 17 minutes of play, Sorci Viola's Alvise Urbani made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xorxe Viguera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xorxe Viguera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Loreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszko Tusk in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Bonelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Edoardo Meo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xorxe Viguera was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sorci Viola from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, FORTALEZA's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Loreto came free, but Xorxe Viguera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xorxe Viguera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Loreto in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Loreto in the 38th minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Xorxe Viguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xorxe Viguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Loreto in the 41st minute of play. Edoardo Meo might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xorxe Viguera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edoardo Meo ran back to his position shaking his head. Antonio Martano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xorxe Viguera having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience was convinced that Cesare Loreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xorxe Viguera was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in FORTALEZA's zone, Cesare Loreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xorxe Viguera came out of the goal and Cesare Loreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, FORTALEZA's Thodoris Boulikakis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thodoris Boulikakis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FORTALEZA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thodoris Boulikakis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, FORTALEZA's Thodoris Boulikakis got a free kick in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's Antonello Tarantini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xorxe Viguera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sorci Viola's Edoardo Meo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sorci Viola's Franco Piccirilli was substituted for Cosimo Toninelli. After 73 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Franco Piccirilli. Stoyo Kamenarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bonelli having to interfere. In the 80th minute of the match FORTALEZA got a corner. Sorci Viola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egor Zabarenko ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Sorci Viola's Concetto Marzo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Stoyo Kamenarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bonelli having to interfere. FORTALEZA were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Sorci Viola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Egor Zabarenko took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Egor Zabarenko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armando Bonelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dmitry Yakubovsky hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Xorxe Viguera made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Antonello Tarantini sent off a good shot on target. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
