Danilo Heli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Tabb in the 14th minute of the match. Leandro Lenzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Gurutz in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Roy Rowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rammstein F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
