The referee ignored Mans's protests and gave Teobald Gondek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Mans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Gondek to maneuver through the defense. Su Xiang Lin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Tito Chayo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Côme Collet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Nippur de Lagash 2 from getting a goal against them. Tito Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Côme Collet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mans's Erdinç Yalgın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Cordarell in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Su Xiang Lin was the one to do the kick off. In the 88th minute Eusébio Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mans fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nippur de Lagash 2 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
