The PGE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Merexildo should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Mauro Odon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anthon Åström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 21 minutes of play, PGE FC's Bartolo Leoiar made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthon Åström was left in no man's land by his defense there! PGE FC's Bartolo Leoiar suffered a concussion in the 24th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 25 minutes, Tommy Joensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BENA FK and the PGE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. PGE FC made a substitution. Guillermo Eguen replaced Bartolo Leoiar. In a very dangerous position, a player in BENA FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Eriberto Charro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Anthon Åström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Eguen in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Mauro Odon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PGE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Eguen in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthon Åström saved BENA FK from getting behind. Guillermo Eguen took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthon Åström. Anthon Åström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 45 minutes into the match, PGE FC's Mauro Odon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthon Åström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in BENA FK's zone, Guillermo Eguen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthon Åström came out of the goal and Guillermo Eguen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eskil Billock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Eguen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Anthon Åström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Sjögren came free, but Rolando Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 62 in the game by Guillermo Eguen from a close distance when the talented Anthon Åström managed to make a qualified save. BENA FK's players were relieved. Rolando Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Sjögren in the 65th minute of the match. Rolando Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Billock in the 67th minute of play. Raul Isauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Anthon Åström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Guillermo Eguen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Anthon Åström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Eguen's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Rolando Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Billock, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
