Nilson do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Lange in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Sjögren. Ronny Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Natã dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anthon Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eskil Billock kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilson do Vale. That made the score 1-2 in the 27 minute of play. If Eskil Billock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Lange's late challenge caught a Bandelocos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Lange helped the player get up and apologised. Anthon Åström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Sobis went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the match, Eskil Billock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eskil Billock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After the first half Bandelocos were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Sobis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Bandelocos's Rafael Sobis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Eskil Billock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eskil Billock came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the BENA FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskil Billock couldn't finish the play. Anthon Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Sobis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Gustaf Sjögren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Nilson do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
