In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bacardi Club's goalkeeper Dennis Palleschi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dennis Palleschi came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov. But to his dismay, Svetoslav Vardarov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Svetoslav Vardarov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dennis Palleschi. Svetoslav Vardarov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Bacardi Club's Viktor Božinovski got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute of the match, Svetoslav Vardarov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dennis Palleschi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Expresso Ranelagh were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Bacardi Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Apostolis Lagidis took the corner. After a rather tough play, Bacardi Club's Faton Rrustemi got a free kick in the 34th minute. Apostolis Lagidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Palleschi having to make a save. After some careless play in the Bacardi Club defense, Svetoslav Vardarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Palleschi. The Bacardi Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Palleschi should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Bacardi Club's Viktor Božinovski got a free kick in the 45th minute. Svetoslav Vardarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Palleschi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svetoslav Vardarov to make the kick off. Viktor Božinovski made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vasil Djurovski however managed to control. Dennis Palleschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov in the 55th minute of play.
