In the 5th minute, Wieslaw Zarobski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crottos Crotters F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Freddy Mercurio got control of the ball when Lucrețiu Oroian tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucrețiu Oroian got free with Freddy Mercurio in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th match minute, Crottos Crotters F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Seguinus to maneuver through the defense. FC ciufulici's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crottos Crotters F.C. the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Xiong in the 32nd minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Marius Rusu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Rusu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Solari in the 41st minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Almăgean to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC ciufulici's Costel Luican got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Baldomero Mateo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Mateo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marius Rusu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peng Xiong made a kick off. Pablo Solari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Rusu having to interfere. The supporters of Crottos Crotters F.C. booed when FC ciufulici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Comarnescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Peng Xiong recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marius Rusu. Peng Xiong showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 68 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Jecu came free, but Freddy Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Vlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 80th minute Peng Xiong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Rusu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Mateo made a great header on Crottos Crotters F.C.'s corner, it was just that FC ciufulici's Marius Rusu managed to reach the ball for a save. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
