After 15 played minutes ERGOTELIS got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Orlando Urbina. Edgar Vlas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stamatis Ifantis. ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ioan Almăgean hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Marius Rusu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Agapakis in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, ERGOTELIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Apostu to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Marius Rusu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Gregory. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gregory in the 37th minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Marius Rusu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Lucrețiu Oroian put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stamatis Ifantis. 46 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's goal looked a bit too open when Lazaros Routsis came free, but Marius Rusu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

George Giurcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that ERGOTELIS were the better team. ERGOTELIS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
