An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Mateo in the 7th minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Stamatis Ifantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ERGOTELIS's Stamatis Ifantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Breckenfeld in the 9th minute of play. Evelio Gregory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Freddy Mercurio made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 任树振 in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Mercurio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Mateo came free, but Stamatis Ifantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peng Xiong in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stamatis Ifantis saved ERGOTELIS from getting behind. After 26 minutes ERGOTELIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baldomero Mateo who took care of the corner kick. Eusebiu Apostu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Stamatis Ifantis. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 26th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Pablo Solari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Solari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes of play, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Pablo Solari made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stamatis Ifantis was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Xiong in the 46th minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Stamatis Ifantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Crottos Crotters F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

ERGOTELIS made a substitution. Stathis Tavanopoulos replaced Panagiotis Agapakis. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peng Xiong to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Peng Xiong got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stamatis Ifantis made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Pablo Solari sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Breckenfeld in the 76th minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Stamatis Ifantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ERGOTELIS's Aimilios Agapidis got a free kick in the 78th minute. Crottos Crotters F.C. made a substitution. Froilan Paublo replaced Gerardo Gartzea. Aimilios Agapidis kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Stathis Tavanopoulos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Crottos Crotters F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 任树振 was slow to take the kick. During this time ERGOTELIS's players had a chance to rest. The corner led ERGOTELIS's 任树振 to fire away a dangerous shot which Freddy Mercurio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Mercurio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Baldomero Mateo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Mateo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stamatis Ifantis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
