Morris FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Vicente Squella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save General Velásquez from getting a goal against them. In the 20thth minute of the game Jorge Vicente Squella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morris FC's Alexis Vincenti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henry Tucknott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Buzea in the 21st minute of the match. Clemente Tuñon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alexis Vincenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Jorge Vicente Squella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Vincenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Morris FC's Horia Buzea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Tucknott. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. Alexis Vincenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Clemente Tuñon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Vincenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Morris FC's zone, Clemente Tuñon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexis Vincenti came out of the goal and Clemente Tuñon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jorge Vicente Squella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexis Vincenti was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Vicente Squella in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexis Vincenti saved Morris FC from getting behind. In the 46th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johny De Raeijmaecker to maneuver through the defense. Danny Amand, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Goycolea to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexis Vincenti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Morris FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Josselin Touitou hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Jorge Vicente Squella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Vincenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexis Vincenti came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella. But to his dismay, Jorge Vicente Squella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Morris FC made a substitution. Mats Back replaced Horia Buzea. After 65 minutes, Danny Amand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morris FC and the General Velásquez players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Morris FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Amand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sivert Rolandsson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Alexis Vincenti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Tuñon in the 69th minute. The audience was convinced that Jorge Vicente Squella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexis Vincenti was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Eckegren came free, but Henry Tucknott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Amand, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Alexis Vincenti made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Jorge Vicente Squella sent off a good shot on target. The corner led to General Velásquez's Renato Goycolea getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. General Velásquez walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
