Célio Lira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, one of Ique Football Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Pituil FC. Rodrigo Bilos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dé Andrade. 0-1. Marcial Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honrio Carretero in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Ique Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Dé Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radomir Dranka's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Honrio Carretero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Chabier was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. A collision led to Ique Football Club getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Victor Velloso hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pituil FC's zone, Honrio Carretero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Chabier came out of the goal and Honrio Carretero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Pituil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honrio Carretero came free, but Marcial Chabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Ique Football Club's Conrado de Salles to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcial Chabier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ique Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pituil FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Ique Football Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pituil FC:s goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honrio Carretero to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ique Football Club booed when Pituil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. 顾广鸿 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomir Dranka got free with Dé Andrade in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes Ique Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Victor Velloso. The Pituil FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
