When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Tudur Fitriansyah took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for David Schembri to make any attempt to save it. SuperChango's Álvaro Puch quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gong Xiao, made in the 9th minute of the game. When Tudur Fitriansyah came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the SuperChango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudur Fitriansyah couldn't finish the play. Northern California's David Schembri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Northern California from getting a goal against them. In the 17thth minute of the game Hector Martxel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SuperChango's Luiz Fernando Branco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Elói Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Northern California booed when SuperChango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Puch didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Northern California's David Schembri got control of the ball when Tudur Fitriansyah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Fernando Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Guillelme in the 27th minute of the match. SuperChango's Luiz Fernando Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 陆阳默 in the 37th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Ilazki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Ilazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, 陆阳默 put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Fernando Branco. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Luiz Fernando Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Isias's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Northern California defense, Tudur Fitriansyah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Schembri. The Northern California fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Schembri should have stopped the shot. In the 59th match minute, SuperChango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Cambiasso to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Chorche. Tudur Fitriansyah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Schembri having to make a save. When Gong Xiao fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Northern California's protests and gave Gong Xiao a yellow card for diving instead. Northern California's Conrado Frans was substituted for Antonio Guillelme. After 64 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Gong Xiao. Casimiro Ieltxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Schembri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tudur Fitriansyah went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Gong Xiao made in the 71st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gervasio Isias however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudur Fitriansyah in the 73rd minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper David Schembri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudur Fitriansyah in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Schembri saved Northern California from getting behind. In the 75th minute of the match SuperChango got a corner. Northern California's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elói Chaves ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 77th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Frans to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tudur Fitriansyah managed to get in a good position for a shot. SuperChango's supporters rose to their feet, but Tudur Fitriansyah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Schembri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Tudur Fitriansyah came free, but David Schembri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Schembri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudur Fitriansyah in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Gong Xiao got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Frans got free with Luiz Fernando Branco in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th match minute, SuperChango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Casimiro Ieltxu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. David Schembri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
