Civetta Calcio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 陆西迅 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jerry Lawler got in the 11th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anthony Sacchi handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Jerry Lawler came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Vancouver Reds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Lawler couldn't finish the play. Jerry Lawler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Ragusa in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Jerry Lawler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 22 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by 陆西迅. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Civetta Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Esposito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Civetta Calcio's Anthony Sacchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Lawler in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, 陆西迅 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anthony Sacchi. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 28th minute, Andrea Bizzarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when 陆西迅 got free with Anthony Sacchi in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Civetta Calcio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Salvador Tate was slow to take the kick. During this time Vancouver Reds's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Vancouver Reds's Salvador Tate to fire away a dangerous shot which Anthony Sacchi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 陆西迅 in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anthony Sacchi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 40 minutes into the match, Cameron Leary notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Civetta Calcio's Anthony Sacchi. Anthony Sacchi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Civetta Calcio's zone, Cameron Leary stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Sacchi came out of the goal and Cameron Leary tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Anthony Sacchi came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Cameron Leary. But to his dismay, Cameron Leary quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Vancouver Reds's Cameron Leary got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthony Sacchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Lawler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that 陆西迅's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthony Sacchi was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Vancouver Reds from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Róbson Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony Sacchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes Civetta Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Esposito. Salvador Tate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anthony Sacchi. Civetta Calcio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Civetta Calcio defense, Jerry Lawler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthony Sacchi. The Civetta Calcio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthony Sacchi should have stopped the shot. In the 77th match minute, Civetta Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Di Nardo to maneuver through the defense. Anthony Sacchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Civetta Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Cameron Leary came free, but Anthony Sacchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Queirós in the 85th minute of play forced Civetta Calcio's goalkeeper Anthony Sacchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
