The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcin Galaska kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rune Grep. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Hjalmar Kråk hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Gizynski in the 7th minute of play. Marcin Galaska's shot from long distance in the 10th minute was not bad at all, but Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Rune Grep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Galaska in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Galaska. 18 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille came free, but Gustaw Kosmatka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grzegorz Wyrostek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rune Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rune Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Galaska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Rune Grep managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Karpaty Krosno's Wawrzyniec Bielecki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcin Galaska got free with Rune Grep in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lirarnas Lag's Hjalmar Kråk got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karpaty Krosno's Gustaw Kosmatka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Kråk in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Galaska came free, but Rune Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hjalmar Kråk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Kosmatka having to interfere. Gustaw Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Kråk in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Gizynski to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustaw Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Galaska in the 57th minute of play forced Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Rune Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harald Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gustaw Kosmatka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lirarnas Lag. Gustaw Kosmatka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hjalmar Kråk in the 61st minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Rune Grep, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Karpaty Krosno's Gustaw Kosmatka got control of the ball when Hjalmar Kråk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hjalmar Kråk's late challenge caught a Karpaty Krosno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hjalmar Kråk helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Karpaty Krosno booed when Lirarnas Lag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Kråk didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lirarnas Lag getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Elpidio Feliu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Galaska in the 96th minute of play forced Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Rune Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
