An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Souza in the 6th minute of play forced Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Rune Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Franklin Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Grep. Lirarnas Lag's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Kråk in the 16th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lirarnas Lag fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Lirarnas Lag:s Rune Grep showed great skill when he stopped Dedé Paiva:s penalty. Dedé Paiva hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Hjalmar Kråk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomé Montenegro. Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Rune Grep had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedé Paiva. Rune Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille came free, but Tomé Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferreira Lopes MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dedé Paiva in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Lirarnas Lag got a freekick which was hit by Erik Norberg. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dário Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Alcântara came free, but Rune Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Ferreira Lopes MZC were awarded a corner. Dedé Paiva went to the cornerflag to take it. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Dedé Paiva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rune Grep in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rune Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Dário Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Grep. Lirarnas Lag's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dário Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Harald Axelsson's late challenge caught a Ferreira Lopes MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Axelsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Lirarnas Lag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lirarnas Lag's Erik Norberg got a free kick in the 68th minute. Rune Grep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Alcântara in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Ferreira Lopes MZC were awarded a corner. Dedé Paiva went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th minute, Ronaldo Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Grep was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 83 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Alcântara notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep. Rune Grep was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Grep was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. A collision led to Lirarnas Lag getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Harald Axelsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 94th minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Tomé Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ferreira Lopes MZC fully deserved thier win.
