The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicklas Vennerlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Leoiar got free with Rune Grep in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. El Patriarca ®'s Nicklas Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 9th minute of play. A hard shot 16 in the game by Aaron Rojelio from a close distance when the talented Rune Grep managed to make a qualified save. Lirarnas Lag's players were relieved. Aaron Rojelio had several of the Lirarnas Lag's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Rune Grep as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Nicklas Vennerlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of El Patriarca ® booed when Lirarnas Lag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Lirarnas Lag's Hjalmar Kråk made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicklas Vennerlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicklas Vennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hjalmar Kråk in the 30th minute of the match. Aaron Rojelio hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes Lirarnas Lag got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Stenquist. With a little luck, Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep got control of the ball when Casimiro Erdiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Lirarnas Lag getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gustav Stenquist hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicklas Vennerlund. El Patriarca ®'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Rojelio to make the kick off. Rune Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Nicklas Vennerlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lirarnas Lag. When the final whistle went the supporters of Lirarnas Lag were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant El Patriarca ® side.
