The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Feliciano Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İzzettin Konuralp in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match BAFRA 55 got a corner. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. İshak Ahıska ran over to the corner to take the kick. Feliciano Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İzzettin Konuralp in the 10th minute of play. BAFRA 55's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by İshak Ahıska in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that İshak Ahıska got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Feliciano Ayala quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Feliciano Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İzzettin Konuralp in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Hilario Fix got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bizen Eguia in the 21st minute of play forced Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliciano Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güney Kutunalp in the 22nd minute of the match. İzzettin Konuralp hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in BAFRA 55's zone, Eulalio Blai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alaaddin Aras came out of the goal and Eulalio Blai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bizen Eguia in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Ayala saved Santos de Buenos Aires FC from getting behind. Albino Canor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Alaaddin Aras skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-1 when İzzettin Konuralp sped through Santos de Buenos Aires FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliciano Ayala. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Albino Canor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alaaddin Aras was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Güney Kutunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Ayala having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Bruno Cambiasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Cambiasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The BAFRA 55 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BAFRA 55 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
