Alican İçten started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis got control of the ball when Alican İçten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oswaldo Talavera's late challenge caught a Flames FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oswaldo Talavera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Leon Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Talavera to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Lopes got free with Clóvis Reis in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Daniel Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Lopes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Clóvis Reis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Diego Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clóvis Reis having to make a save. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Sport Club from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Alican İçten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flames FC's Tao Xi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Vander in the 29th minute of play. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Sport Club from getting a goal against them. Diego Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Clóvis Reis made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Giovanni Massa made the kick off in the second half. Douglas Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Tao Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 62 minutes of play, Leon Sport Club's Giovanni Massa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tao Xi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flames FC's Camille Trudeau was substituted for Amat Mata. Flames FC made a substitution. Miguel Campos replaced Stoyne Dushev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Lopes in the 70th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alican İçten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Sport Club's Jon Loarte got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alican İçten in the 80th minute of play. Daniel Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tao Xi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Miguel Campos put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Clóvis Reis. João Augusto Costa struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tao Xi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leon Sport Club. Leon Sport Club were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
