BATIgol FC's Angel Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortun Corrillos in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, BATIgol FC's Julian Unax ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Koen Rijmenams. Koen Rijmenams yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The supporters of BATIgol FC booed when Oylimpiamos Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzhan Fişek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Koen Rijmenams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Koen Rijmenams came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by BATIgol FC's Feliciano Orti. But to his dismay, Feliciano Orti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 61 minutes into the match, BATIgol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Selatse Cantillo came free, but Angel Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Robustiano Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Romeo Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koen Rijmenams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, BATIgol FC's Cristian Abeita seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cristian Abeita the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BATIgol FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cristian Abeita had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Oylimpiamos Ψ a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rik Quexada, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BATIgol FC's Angel Peruzzi. 4-2. 74 minutes into the match, BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fortun Corrillos. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Koen Rijmenams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Elija in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fortun Corrillos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortun Corrillos got free with Angel Peruzzi in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 played minutes Oylimpiamos Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Cordario Pierredonda. A collision led to Oylimpiamos Ψ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cordario Pierredonda hit a great ball. Bartolo Bachicabo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Angel Peruzzi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortun Corrillos got free with Angel Peruzzi in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Alvaro Elija got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes BATIgol FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Weterio.
