In the 19th minute Policarpio Lukaschewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's Daniel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wincenty Kolacki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, SeleSantos FC's Jacobo Casado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wincenty Kolacki. In the 29th minute Niilo Mikkola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Kolacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jacobo Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niilo Mikkola got free with Wincenty Kolacki in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SeleSantos FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Natural Born Killers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niilo Mikkola took the corner. Natural Born Killers's Wincenty Kolacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 36th minute of play. Wincenty Kolacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Törnqvist in the 37th minute of play. SeleSantos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niilo Mikkola in the 38th minute. A nice corner shot did that Niilo Mikkola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wincenty Kolacki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 43rd minute, Roland Bialakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wincenty Kolacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niilo Mikkola, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when Natural Born Killers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 61 minutes, Policarpio Lukaschewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Natural Born Killers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Policarpio Lukaschewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Natural Born Killers's goal looked a bit too open when Niilo Mikkola came free, but Wincenty Kolacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natural Born Killers's Vinicio Iyan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 66 minutes in the game, fortunately Dinei Pinheiro had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 72 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Iyan. If Jacobo Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute Jacobo Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Kolacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Natural Born Killers's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Törnqvist came free, but Wincenty Kolacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Natural Born Killers's goalkeeper Wincenty Kolacki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Vinicio Iyan could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Dinei Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. If Jacobo Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Vinicio Iyan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinei Pinheiro was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Natural Born Killers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
