If Hugo Haupt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. August Hoffmanns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Queirós in the 18th minute of play. If Matheus Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Matheus Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Anestis Kotsopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Genaro Abendano, making the score, 2-0. Genaro Abendano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Henning, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the game, Hakem Al Khames threw the ball into play from the sideline. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Marcos Salazar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

The wind increased when Anestis Kotsopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Genaro Abendano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mesut Özil in the 51st minute of play. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Maximilian Henning was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Genaro Abendano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Ender Yalçın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes RomoLerouX UniteD UXX got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Romaza. Genaro Abendano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Haupt in the 68th minute of play. Ender Yalçın's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, August Hoffmanns skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 85 minutes into the match, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Henning came free, but Genaro Abendano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A wasted opportunity for RomoLerouX UniteD UXX. August Hoffmanns made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Ender Yalçın sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rot-Weiss-Essen fully deserved thier win.
