Vladimiro Jerold showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Vladimiro Jerold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Téo Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's Vladimiro Jerold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Téo Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute Los Gallos were awarded a corner. Baldomiro Brais went to the cornerflag to take it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The Pereiras FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Los Gallos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
