An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Ares in the 31st minute of play forced Nightmare's goalkeeper Edmund Lenertej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Tang Han almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Proteu's Ulysses Donato did a great save. Ulysses Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Pryla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Proteu's protests and gave Armando Piacentini a yellow card for diving instead. Witold Pryla struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ulysses Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nightmare. Zbigniew Jajecznica was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. Nightmare:s Edmund Lenertej showed great skill when he stopped 毛明昆:s penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qu Wei made a kick off. Ulysses Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Chevalier in the 51st minute of play. Aaron Chevalier's late challenge caught a Proteu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Chevalier helped the player get up and apologised. Edmund Lenertej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qu Wei, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Edmund Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Ares in the 70th minute of play. Proteu's Qu Wei got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Baran Alp Tolgahan fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Proteu's protests and gave Baran Alp Tolgahan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, one of Proteu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Proteu. Proteu:s Ulysses Donato showed great skill when he stopped Ronaldo 吴鹏:s penalty. In the 77th match minute, Proteu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Norbert Pruss kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Edmund Lenertej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 毛明昆, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 87 minutes of play, Proteu's Qu Wei made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmund Lenertej was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 89 played minutes Nightmare got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo 吴鹏. Nightmare's Edmund Lenertej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Ares in the 90th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Archie Ares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmund Lenertej. Nightmare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Archie Ares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. There was no doubt that Proteu were the better team. Proteu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
