The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Falckner FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gianluca Vialli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dean Watts made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gianluca Vialli sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute of the match Falckner FC got a corner. Amputees FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gianluca Vialli ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gianluca Vialli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dean Watts quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Loco De la Maza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Roach's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Marcus Roach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gianluca Vialli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amputees FC's Abraham Laing got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dean Watts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Laing came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Gianluca Vialli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dean Watts. Gianluca Vialli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Laing in the 36th minute of the match. Paulino Donzel hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Loco De la Maza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Laing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dean Watts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gianluca Vialli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Steve Bohn got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amputees FC's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abraham Laing was the one to do the kick off. Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dean Watts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Olaf Ciempa put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dean Watts. In the 61stth minute of the game Gianluca Vialli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Dean Watts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gianluca Vialli came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Falckner FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gianluca Vialli couldn't finish the play. Dean Watts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dean Watts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Vialli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Arne Gronow. After 69 played minutes, Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dean Watts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Falckner FC reached it. In the 70th minute Marcus Roach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Alberto Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Watts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Bohn. Dean Watts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Edorta went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Severino Gabrio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Roach in the 87th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Roach came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Roach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Loco De la Maza made a huge save. After 93 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Ciempa. Loco De la Maza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marcus Roach. After 95 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Bohn. Falckner FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
