Miguel Almiron was slow to take the kick. During this time Sacro Balompié's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Miguel Almiron almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Te Moriste en Madrid's Mark Schwarzer did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Sacro Balompié's zone, Ismael Guilabertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Sancho came out of the goal and Ismael Guilabertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorio Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Schwarzer having to interfere. Mark Schwarzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Almiron in the 11th minute of the match. Miguel Almiron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Schwarzer having to make a save. Mark Schwarzer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Almiron's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When Sacro Balompié's Victorio Jax in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Te Moriste en Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. Bonifacio Cedro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sacro Balompié from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Jax in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Schwarzer saved Te Moriste en Madrid from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Te Moriste en Madrid's Baltasar Sancho threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ismael Guilabertus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 33rd minute of the match, Ismael Guilabertus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baltasar Sancho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 35 minutes into the game, Celso Osmundo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Sancho. Celso Osmundo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Mark Schwarzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 44 played minutes Te Moriste en Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Mario Rodriguez. Sacro Balompié's Miguel Almiron couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Te Moriste en Madrid. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Almiron in the 47th minute of play forced Te Moriste en Madrid's goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

51 minutes in the game Gaudencio Santos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gaudencio Santos. In the 53rd minute, Miguel Almiron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mark Schwarzer. The goal made the score 1-2. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sacro Balompié's Miguel Almiron in the 58th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mark Schwarzer was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Te Moriste en Madrid through an amazing save. The Sacro Balompié fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Sacro Balompié's Miguel Almiron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Miguel Almiron had several of the Te Moriste en Madrid's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-5 score and a disappointed Mark Schwarzer as he didn't even see the shot coming. During the 86th minute of the match Mario Rodriguez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mario Rodriguez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Te Moriste en Madrid's Mario Rodriguez got a free kick in the 87th minute. Baltasar Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Osmundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sacro Balompié players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
