Cecilio Tristan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Yngve Lägdin made a huge save. If Emanuel Bărbulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yngve Lägdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Tristan in the 40th minute of play. Hugo Orlando Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Lorenz's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's Genaro Elivareo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emilio Alfonso, made in the 90th minute of the game. Cecilio Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Yngve Lägdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Rami in the 94th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match, Gregorio Mundo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Orlando Gatti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. KINROAD were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Abuba Akotonon FC to leave the ground with a draw.
