After 20th play minutes Edin Džeko shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Édouard Mendy and just under the crossbar into goal. 25 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Randy Kläser sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Édouard Mendy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Trigo in the 27th minute of play. Guilherme Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Marino hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Guilherme Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Flamengo CIMZ booed when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, João Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo CIMZ the free kick. After 35 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by João Miranda. A collision led to Flamengo CIMZ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Moncho Vicente hit a great ball. Edin Džeko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Édouard Mendy made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Peres in the 51st minute of play forced Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Rufo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Frichoso in the 57th minute. Leopoldo Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 61st minute of play. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko. But to his dismay, Edin Džeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 63rd minute 尹皓竞 suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Jonas Silva was substituted for 尹皓竞. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Peres in the 65th minute of play forced Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomil Osowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the Flamengo CIMZ defense, Edin Džeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Édouard Mendy. The Flamengo CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Édouard Mendy should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Frichoso. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Amadeo Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Black in the 80th minute of play. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Trigo in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Trigo got free with Amadeo Rufo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Nova Erechim - FSCMZ booed when Flamengo CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Black didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Marcelinho Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Peres in the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Edin Džeko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Edin Džeko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Édouard Mendy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ were victorious despite being under pressure from Flamengo CIMZ for much of the match.
