Diego Milito started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Maiorga in the 3rd minute of play forced Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Burkhard Kofler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Mitxaut hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Gregorio Fagildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hanjo Cyrkel. Gregorio Fagildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Dulson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes, Diego Milito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Diamante U18 and the Borussia Ostermoordorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Borussia Ostermoordorf booed when Deportivo Diamante U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Milito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Igon to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Jensen in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Borussia Ostermoordorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xu Jing Xun to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Borussia Ostermoordorf's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Milito came free, but Burkhard Kofler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Tomáš Szedlák got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hanjo Cyrkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Fagildo having to interfere. Burkhard Kofler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burkhard Kofler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Deportivo Diamante U18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Igon in the 36th minute. Gregorio Fagildo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Victor Jensen sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Hanjo Cyrkel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Ostermoordorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Burkhard Kofler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Milito went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Milito in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Burkhard Kofler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute of the match Deportivo Diamante U18 got a corner. Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lino Igon ran over to the corner to take the kick. 58 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Diamante U18:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Deportivo Diamante U18:s Gregorio Fagildo showed great skill when he stopped Victor Jensen:s penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hanjo Cyrkel in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Fagildo saved Deportivo Diamante U18 from getting behind. In the 66th match minute, Borussia Ostermoordorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Bialakowski to maneuver through the defense. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Sandor Borchert was substituted for Hanjo Cyrkel. 71 minutes into the match, Victor Jensen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregorio Fagildo. Deportivo Diamante U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Jensen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Conrado Maiorga sped through Borussia Ostermoordorf's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Burkhard Kofler. Diego Milito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Burkhard Kofler came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego Milito slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 80th minute. The supporters of Deportivo Diamante U18 booed when Borussia Ostermoordorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Buhrmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diego Milito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, Victor Jensen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Ostermoordorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Ostermoordorf's zone, Conrado Maiorga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burkhard Kofler came out of the goal and Conrado Maiorga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
