The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match LA InDuStRiA INC got a corner. Rondeau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomás Leoncio ran over to the corner to take the kick. LA InDuStRiA INC's Cristobal Lalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eleuterio Guerau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristobal Lalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eleuterio Guerau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Lalla ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the game, Tomás Leoncio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eleuterio Guerau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saverio Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Saverio Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA InDuStRiA INC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Reyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Rondeau defense, Cristobal Lalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Guerau. The Rondeau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Guerau should have stopped the shot. Tomás Leoncio struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Eleuterio Guerau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA InDuStRiA INC. If Saverio Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rondeau's goalkeeper Eleuterio Guerau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Tomás Leoncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA InDuStRiA INC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Leoncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Raimundo Obano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 38 minutes into the match, LA InDuStRiA INC's goalkeeper Raimundo Obano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Ledesma. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rondeau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomás Leoncio was slow to take the kick. During this time LA InDuStRiA INC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tomás Leoncio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eleuterio Guerau quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 43 minutes, Cristobal Lalla made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rondeau's Eleuterio Guerau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Inocente to strike the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Inocente in the 52nd minute of play. If Tomás Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Rondeau's goalkeeper Eleuterio Guerau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Lalla. When Cristobal Lalla came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the LA InDuStRiA INC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Lalla couldn't finish the play. Rondeau's Eleuterio Guerau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Reyes in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lalla in the 76th minute of play forced Rondeau's goalkeeper Eleuterio Guerau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Guerau having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Tomás Leoncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA InDuStRiA INC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Leoncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleuterio Guerau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 87th minute, LA InDuStRiA INC's Saverio Reyes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. LA InDuStRiA INC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
