The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kristian Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Fernando Pratto in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliott Pépin to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Gilberto Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Lalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Albom having to interfere. Kristian Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Raymond in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Torekov's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Raymond came free, but Kristian Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Santa Fe's Gilberto Raymond made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristian Albom was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Torekov's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Raymond came free, but Kristian Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Raymond took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Albom. Kristian Albom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 40 minutes into the game, Roque Roso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Kristian Albom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torekov's Kristian Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Fernando Pratto in the 44th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Steve Rogers put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Kristian Albom. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The wind increased when Ulf Ersman made the kick off in the second half. Roque Roso scored 0-10 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristian Albom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Santa Fe's Roque Roso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristian Albom. Kristian Albom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. 63 minutes into the game, Roque Roso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as Santa Fe's Gilberto Raymond slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kristian Albom. That made the score 0-14 after 73 minutes of play. In the 80th minute, Gilberto Raymond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Fe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-16. But to his dismay, Juan Fernando Pratto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-19. Kristian Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santa Fe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
