Leandro de Almeida's late challenge caught a Anderbye FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Leandro de Almeida hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Anderbye FC's Afonso Alves got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Trigo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ander Bye saved Anderbye FC from getting behind. Ander Bye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Trigo in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Virgílio Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Ander Bye. Anderbye FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lince Negro in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Nueva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lince Negro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Angelino Nueva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgílio Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Ander Bye had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedé Gaspar.
