In the 9th minute of the match Maciej Kaznocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baal Vanger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Holtland FC's Baal Vanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave De Bartolo in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini got control of the ball when Mathias Koole tried to sneak it across the goal line. GG Team FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Koole was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rick Pruischer's late challenge caught a GG Team FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rick Pruischer helped the player get up and apologised. Baal Vanger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave De Bartolo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Rick Pruischer struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Fortunato Montini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holtland FC. 31 minutes into the match, Holtland FC's Rick Pruischer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fortunato Montini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 minutes GG Team FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Hoogstrate who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jonathan Hoogstrate got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fortunato Montini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dave De Bartolo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baal Vanger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Baal Vanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave De Bartolo in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Scandella in the 42nd minute of play forced Holtland FC's goalkeeper Baal Vanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match GG Team FC got a corner. Holtland FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maciej Kaznocha ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dave De Bartolo made a great header on GG Team FC's corner, it was just that Holtland FC's Baal Vanger managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 47th minute Dave De Bartolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baal Vanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathias Koole to strike the kick off in the second half. When Sjef Fellinger came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Holtland FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sjef Fellinger couldn't finish the play. Holtland FC's Rick Pruischer got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Dennis Man left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GG Team FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 68th play minutes Sjef Fellinger shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Fortunato Montini and just under the crossbar into goal. If Dennis Man had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to GG Team FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Maciej Kaznocha hit a great ball. Rick Pruischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Montini having to interfere. GG Team FC's Stefan Cârstea was substituted for Bernardo Scandella. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Koole in the 79th minute of play forced GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Koole in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunato Montini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baal Vanger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Man in the 84th minute. If Dennis Man had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Montini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sjef Fellinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the GG Team FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Holtland FC.
