In the 3rd minute Miromir Magdziarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaino Üürike in the 8th minute of play forced Tinnaglogh's goalkeeper Hjalmar Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Bran John was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tinnaglogh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Czarne Mamby the free kick. Oliver Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derry McGlynn in the 12th minute. Rownun Duggan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Tinnaglogh got a freekick which was hit by Derry McGlynn. After a defensive mix-up in Tinnaglogh's zone, Vaino Üürike stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hjalmar Lidström came out of the goal and Vaino Üürike tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Czarne Mamby's goalkeeper Oliver Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derry McGlynn. 26 minutes into the game, Olgierd Lisewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oliver Kahn. Olgierd Lisewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Berke Ramsey took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Kahn. Oliver Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 33 minutes into the game, Ryszard Luty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czarne Mamby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tinnaglogh the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Ryszard Luty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Olgierd Lisewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tinnaglogh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 41 minutes into the game, Cyryl Lemiesz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czarne Mamby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tinnaglogh the free kick. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Oliver Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 42nd play minute Olgierd Lisewski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oliver Kahn. 4-0. In the 47th match minute, Tinnaglogh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Lisewski to maneuver through the defense.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olgierd Lisewski made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Miromir Magdziarz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Hjalmar Lidström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th minute, Olgierd Lisewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hjalmar Lidström made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Vaino Üürike sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Ryszard Luty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Tinnaglogh's Olgierd Lisewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliver Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derry McGlynn in the 73rd minute of play forced Czarne Mamby's goalkeeper Oliver Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Ramsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Derry McGlynn sped through Czarne Mamby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oliver Kahn. Oliver Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derry McGlynn in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Czarne Mamby's goal looked a bit too open when Rownun Duggan came free, but Oliver Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 81 minutes on the clock, Cyryl Lemiesz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Czarne Mamby:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tinnaglogh:s goal. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Tinnaglogh. Rownun Duggan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oliver Kahn. 7-1. Hickey Hunt hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Czarne Mamby booed when Tinnaglogh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berke Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Olgierd Lisewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berke Ramsey in the 92nd minute of play forced Czarne Mamby's goalkeeper Oliver Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Olgierd Lisewski made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Kahn. Czarne Mamby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tinnaglogh had played much better football throughout.
