Palmiro Picasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Sandoval came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baal Grunberg in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gentil Miranda saved Pau Nas Canelas from getting behind. Gentil Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
