After 18 minutes of play, Club Atlétic Incles's Calvin Hollingsworth made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wachirapong Wattanachinda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Hollingsworth in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Calvin Hollingsworth notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Clube do Remo MZ's Wachirapong Wattanachinda. Wachirapong Wattanachinda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Atlétic Incles's Angelino Abancens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlétic Incles from getting a goal against them. With his leg Angelino Abancens managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Clube do Remo MZ's Baal Grunberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dagoberto Sandoval took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelino Abancens. Angelino Abancens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Dinu Pelin put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Wachirapong Wattanachinda.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baal Grunberg was the one to do the kick off.
