The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Lucjan Ciupierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witalis Damazki in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute Tobiasz Wierzbicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Mlynarczyk having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Damazki came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jaime Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Działki Leśne Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Kochowski. 30 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Damazki came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Rodrigues in the 34th minute of play forced Działki Leśne Gdynia's goalkeeper Kajetan Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Działki Leśne Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Trynda to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kajetan Mlynarczyk made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Richard Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd match minute, Działki Leśne Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Ramzinski to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Inter Gala made a substitution. Heinz Stalder replaced Jaime Rodrigues. The wind increased when Heinz Stalder made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witalis Damazki got free with Eduardo Baiano in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Działki Leśne Gdynia getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Witalis Damazki hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Edgar Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Mlynarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 minutes of play, Inter Gala's Richard Mendonça made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kajetan Mlynarczyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Inter Gala from getting a goal against them. After having played for 76 minutes, Lucjan Ciupierdo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Działki Leśne Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Ciupierdo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Damazki in the 83rd minute of the match. Kajetan Mlynarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Edgar Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Gala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Działki Leśne Gdynia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
