He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vänge IF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Vänge IF from getting a goal against them. Dinu Pelin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Hernando made a huge save. Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Hollingsworth in the 11th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Dinu Pelin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciriaco Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Hollingsworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Ciriaco Hernando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Albäck in the 18th minute of play forced Club Atlétic Incles's goalkeeper Angelino Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Otsoa in the 21st minute of play. Angelino Abancens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markus Albäck's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Ciriaco Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Pelin in the 24th minute of the match. Dinu Pelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Hernando having to interfere. Ciriaco Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Hollingsworth in the 31st minute of play. Club Atlétic Incles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Slawomir Winograd in the 32nd minute. The corner led to Club Atlétic Incles's Alin Cristaldo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Pelin got free with Ciriaco Hernando in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Pelin in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Axel Aronsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlétic Incles defense, Mauro Otsoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Abancens. The Club Atlétic Incles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Abancens should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Dinu Pelin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciriaco Hernando. That made the score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play.

Vänge IF's Ramiro James was substituted for Mauro Otsoa. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinu Pelin was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dinu Pelin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando. Ciriaco Hernando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute Calvin Hollingsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calvin Hollingsworth struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ciriaco Hernando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlétic Incles. After 95 minutes, Måns Godholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vänge IF and the Club Atlétic Incles players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute of the match Slawomir Winograd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciriaco Hernando skillfully saved the ball. Club Atlétic Incles walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
