Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Michel Batistuta made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, FC U Cluj-N's Sorin Arsene got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 3 minutes into the match, FC U Cluj-N's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Bielejewski came free, but Mircea Calboreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 曾钢宁 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Matai having to interfere. Roman Matai was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Çağlar Soyuncu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ivan Florescu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the FC U Cluj-N fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Florescu couldn't finish the play. Roman Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾钢宁 in the 17th minute of the match. 曾钢宁 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mircea Calboreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Batistuta in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Florescu in the 26th minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the STAL ST WOLA defense, Ivan Florescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Matai. The STAL ST WOLA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Matai should have stopped the shot. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Turcu in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Florescu came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, FC U Cluj-N's Sorin Arsene sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Matai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, 曾钢宁 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remus Turcu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC U Cluj-N! Mircea Calboreanu had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Michel Batistuta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Michel Batistuta scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mircea Calboreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Florescu in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Matai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes STAL ST WOLA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iosif Bălcescu who took care of the corner kick. FC U Cluj-N's 曾钢宁 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roman Matai in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when FC U Cluj-N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Turcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC U Cluj-N getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Remus Turcu hit a great ball.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Florescu in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Matai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roman Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Arsene in the 61st minute of the match. The corner led FC U Cluj-N's Iosif Bălcescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Roman Matai despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai got control of the ball when 曾钢宁 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Ivan Florescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Matai. Ivan Florescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. FC U Cluj-N made a substitution. Cazimir Cosor replaced Sorin Arsene. In the 75th minute 曾钢宁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Florescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the match was over FC U Cluj-N could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than STAL ST WOLA throughout the match.
