Josef Witlatschil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Prestes in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match SORRISO E. C. got a corner. Tiger's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Murilo Prestes ran over to the corner to take the kick. SORRISO E. C.'s Gustavo Romero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Josef Witlatschil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Caco Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Sawicki in the 21st minute of play. Gaizka Mendieta hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute SORRISO E. C. were awarded a corner. Murilo Prestes went to the cornerflag to take it. Murilo Prestes made a great header on SORRISO E. C.'s corner, it was just that Tiger's Josef Witlatschil managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Tiger's Josef Witlatschil got control of the ball when Edmílson da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Prestes to make the kick off. Iwo Sawicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Caco Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Tiger's Thilo Heß ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Caco Azevedo. Caco Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Tiger made a substitution. Ingo Ustorf replaced Rudolf Speed. Iwo Sawicki succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Caco Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thilo Heß in the 66th minute of play. Ingo Ustorf kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Ingo Ustorf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Ingo Ustorf in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SORRISO E. C.'s Doni Velloso. With his leg Caco Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Tiger's Marten Weise fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner led Tiger's Américo Baehr to fire away a dangerous shot which Caco Azevedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Caco Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marten Weise in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Tiger's Iwo Sawicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caco Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Josef Witlatschil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Prestes in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Tiger could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SORRISO E. C. throughout the match.
