In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 4 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tales Arce. If Don Malbec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Malbec in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Ramalho in the 6th minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Bryant Miles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Don Malbec's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Bryant Miles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Mathias Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Don Malbec might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Eduardo Galvão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Don Malbec ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Don Malbec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute of the match Charlotte FC got a corner. Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kaja Jamak ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Kaja Jamak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Eduardo Galvão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Don Malbec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Don Malbec might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Eduardo Galvão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Don Malbec ran back to his position shaking his head. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Malbec in the 34th minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Malbec, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Malbec in the 38th minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Charlotte FC booed when Aesir FC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Aesir FC FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Don Malbec made the kick off in the second half. 65 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Bryant Miles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmo de Brito. In the 67th minute Aesir FC FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Carlos Eduardo Veiga went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Elivélton Jacinto managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mathias Varela hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Kaja Jamak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão skillfully saved the ball. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Malbec in the 71st minute of play. Charlotte FC's Parker English quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ernesto Berger, made in the 80th minute of the game. Vicente Rafferty might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Eduardo Galvão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Rafferty ran back to his position shaking his head. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Rafferty in the 81st minute of play. Vicente Rafferty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kaja Jamak who took care of the corner kick. Bryant Miles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Carlos Eduardo Veiga made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ernesto Berger immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Rafferty in the 95th minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Charlotte FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aesir FC FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
