Jerônimo Moreno scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Valentine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Maurinho Hermes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Isidoro Valentine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to DZ Blue getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Claes Rudqvist hit a great ball. Isidoro Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Enio Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Moreno in the 15th minute of play forced DZ Blue's goalkeeper Isidoro Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jerônimo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jerônimo Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jerônimo Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Arne Ström hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Maurinho Hermes sped through DZ Blue's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isidoro Valentine. 31 minutes into the match, Maurinho Hermes notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine. Isidoro Valentine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Arnaldo Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Sjöö hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Váldson Mesquita in the 41st minute of play. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Genílson Dante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save BARBARIDADE G.M. from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the DZ Blue defense, Enio Gomes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Valentine. The DZ Blue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Valentine should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerônimo Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jerônimo Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jerônimo Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo Moreno in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Valentine saved DZ Blue from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in BARBARIDADE G.M.'s zone, Arnaldo Johansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Dante came out of the goal and Arnaldo Johansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to BARBARIDADE G.M. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Geovanni Trancoso hit a great ball. Jerônimo Moreno in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidoro Valentine, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claes Rudqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DZ Blue's Ola Holmgren was substituted for Arnaldo Johansson. 67 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Hermes came free, but Isidoro Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Váldson Mesquita in the 68th minute. The corner led to BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Per-Arne Ström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Jerônimo Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurinho Hermes in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Valentine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 72 minutes, Maurinho Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurinho Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute of the match, Maurinho Hermes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidoro Valentine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ola Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Genílson Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmie Ahlin hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Hermes in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute BARBARIDADE G.M. were awarded a corner. Váldson Mesquita went to the cornerflag to take it. Váldson Mesquita made a great header on BARBARIDADE G.M.'s corner, it was just that DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurinho Hermes in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Valentine saved DZ Blue from getting behind. After having played for 92 minutes, Börje Fristedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DZ Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Fristedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The BARBARIDADE G.M. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BARBARIDADE G.M. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
