Genílson Dante was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jeronimo Walme. In the 80th minute, Valdemar Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in BARBARIDADE G.M.'s zone, 宋岩国 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Dante came out of the goal and 宋岩国 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmacio Ponc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Genílson Dante made a huge save. The BARBARIDADE G.M. fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Jerônimo Moreno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Deportivo Iguazu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
