Deportivo Iguazu's Yngve Ödman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Iguazu from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Iguazu's zone, Roby Baggio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yngve Ödman came out of the goal and Roby Baggio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yngve Ödman made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Elvijs Presley sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, Deportivo Iguazu's goalkeeper Yngve Ödman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvijs Presley. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvijs Presley got free with Yngve Ödman in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvijs Presley in the 11th minute of play forced Deportivo Iguazu's goalkeeper Yngve Ödman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Deportivo Iguazu's goalkeeper Yngve Ödman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvijs Presley. With his leg Yngve Ödman managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Malmö White Knights's Elvijs Presley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Johnny Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Txartiko in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Elvijs Presley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malmö White Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvijs Presley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Deportivo Iguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Roby Baggio came free, but Yngve Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elvijs Presley in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yngve Ödman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yngve Ödman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvijs Presley in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Dalmacio Ponc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Iguazu's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Ponc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Banks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Deportivo Iguazu's Yngve Ödman got control of the ball when Elvijs Presley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johnny Banks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Ponc in the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jeronimo Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Malmö White Knights getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Elvijs Presley hit a great ball. After 51 played minutes Deportivo Iguazu got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Walme. If Elvijs Presley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Deportivo Iguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Elvijs Presley came free, but Yngve Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Elvijs Presley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Ödman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Elvijs Presley managed to get in a good position for a shot.
