Fabio Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 26th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as 19 Mayıs Belediyespor's Suat Koca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabio Paredes. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. Fabio Paredes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mattias Naba. 36 minutes into the game, Mattias Naba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fabio Paredes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Paredes was a little too slow when Yunus-Emre Hasanoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 43rd minute, Fahri Balaban reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabio Paredes. The goal made the score 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Arauz made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Real Panama CF's zone, Yunus-Emre Hasanoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Paredes came out of the goal and Yunus-Emre Hasanoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 52nd minute, Guillermo Arauz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Ricardo Bochini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Mattias Naba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Paredes. Real Panama CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Naba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahri Balaban in the 58th minute of play forced Real Panama CF's goalkeeper Fabio Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thoyib Alatas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Real Panama CF's Fabio Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Naba in the 64th minute of play. Thoyib Alatas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Arauz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 19 Mayıs Belediyespor had played much better football throughout.
