NEGRITUDE FC's Ernesto Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Medeiros in the 8th minute of play. Ernesto Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Estevon Abancens went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Escuadrón Mercenario fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Escuadrón Mercenario's Estevon Abancens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the game, Estevon Abancens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ernesto Vargas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amauri Campidelis scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Escuadrón Mercenario's Gartxot Abeita got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Escuadrón Mercenario's Ramiro Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nando Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Macedo in the 45th minute of play. Ernesto Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevon Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The NEGRITUDE FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Escuadrón Mercenario were winning 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Estevon Abancens to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Estevon Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Queiroz came free, but Nando Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Escuadrón Mercenario's Estevon Abancens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Vargas. Ernesto Vargas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Ernesto Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Abeijon in the 65th minute. With a little luck, NEGRITUDE FC's Ernesto Vargas got control of the ball when Estevon Abancens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estevon Abancens scored 0-9 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, NEGRITUDE FC's Luisão Bertassi got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the final whistle sounded Escuadrón Mercenario left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NEGRITUDE FC.
