Ciro Moscatelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Acilia Town's Ovidiu Ciulei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leif Jespersson, made in the 11th minute of the game. If Ovidiu Ciulei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acilia Town's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diego Tozzi in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Franco Ucci almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wyoming Cowboys's Henning Berglund did a great save. Henning Berglund stood somewhat misplaced when Franco Ucci came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 15 minute. 22 minutes into the match, Scofield Vinciguerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Berglund. Wyoming Cowboys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Scofield Vinciguerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 26th minute Lanny Lilly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Acilia Town getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ovidiu Ciulei hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Battle Bundy in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Acilia Town's Franco Ucci. 32 minutes into the match, Acilia Town's Scofield Vinciguerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henning Berglund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Wyoming Cowboys got a freekick which was hit by Harry Sjö. Wyoming Cowboys's Henning Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scofield Vinciguerra in the 33rd minute of play. Nils McNamara hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Franco Ucci came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Acilia Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Ucci couldn't finish the play. Scofield Vinciguerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henning Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scofield Vinciguerra in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute Scofield Vinciguerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edwin McNamara was the one to do the kick off. In the 78th minute, Harry Sjö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wyoming Cowboys's Verner Myr got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Acilia Town's Fu Hai Yuan was substituted for Franco Ucci. After some careless play in the Wyoming Cowboys defense, Dieguinho Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henning Berglund. The Wyoming Cowboys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henning Berglund should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Acilia Town fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wyoming Cowboys had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
