An unexpectedly hard shot by Scofield Vinciguerra in the 7th minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Börje Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Scofield Vinciguerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scofield Vinciguerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Acilia Town's Ovidiu Ciulei got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Lendaa got free with Ciro Moscatelli in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Robert Wojno came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Acilia Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Wojno couldn't finish the play. Börje Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scofield Vinciguerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Börje Albohm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Börje Albohm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Scofield Vinciguerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acilia Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ciro Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Novella in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Baxters Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Scofield Vinciguerra came free, but Börje Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well done corner resulted in Robert Wojno drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Baxters Boys's goalkeeper. Fidel Illan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Acilia Town made a substitution. Dieguinho Tande replaced Scofield Vinciguerra. Acilia Town's Alvaro Recoba was substituted for Diego Tozzi. 53 minutes into the match, Baxters Boys's Frank Novella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Moscatelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dieguinho Tande took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börje Albohm. Börje Albohm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Baxters Boys's John Guidetti was substituted for Cornelio Olayo. Börje Albohm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dieguinho Tande in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Dieguinho Tande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Börje Albohm. Baxters Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieguinho Tande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Börje Albohm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dieguinho Tande showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 69 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Baxters Boys's Marioara Olaru got a free kick in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Dieguinho Tande notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Baxters Boys's Börje Albohm. Börje Albohm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Börje Albohm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Staffan Åman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Acilia Town's Fu Hai Yuan was substituted for Franco Ucci. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uzay Gencalp in the 85th minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Ciro Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dieguinho Tande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börje Albohm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Uzay Gencalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Acilia Town defense, Uzay Gencalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Moscatelli. The Acilia Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Moscatelli should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Baxters Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Tande came free, but Börje Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96th play minutes Uzay Gencalp shot 2-7, a short shot which went by Ciro Moscatelli and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle sounded Acilia Town left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Baxters Boys.
