Scofield Vinciguerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Nilson Dracena made a huge save. Dito Donatello's late challenge caught a Acilia Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dito Donatello helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Acilia Town booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilson Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scofield Vinciguerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Elivélton Valle made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Basílio do Valle. Scofield Vinciguerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SE Palmeiras's zone, Scofield Vinciguerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Dracena came out of the goal and Scofield Vinciguerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Scofield Vinciguerra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 27th playminute. 31 minutes into the game, Scofield Vinciguerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Nilson Dracena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 played minutes Acilia Town got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Ceballos. Ciro Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Baiano in the 36th minute of play. Elivélton Valle hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Acilia Town's Nilson Dracena threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Scofield Vinciguerra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Franco Ucci's late challenge caught a SE Palmeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. SE Palmeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acilia Town the free kick. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Christiano Baiano hit a great ball. Acilia Town made a substitution. Dieguinho Tande replaced Scofield Vinciguerra. Acilia Town's Alvaro Recoba was substituted for Diego Tozzi. Christiano Baiano hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dieguinho Tande was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Acilia Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Tande to maneuver through the defense. Acilia Town's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ovidiu Ciulei in the 60th minute. Alvaro Recoba was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Aurelio Giampieri struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Nilson Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acilia Town. Ovidiu Ciulei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nilson Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SE Palmeiras's zone, Fidel Illan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Dracena came out of the goal and Fidel Illan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Tande in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Tande in the 69th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Franco Ucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Dieguinho Tande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dieguinho Tande took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Dracena. Nilson Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Nilson Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieguinho Tande in the 77th minute of the match. Natanael Paraense hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Basílio do Valle. Elivélton Valle hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Dieguinho Tande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dieguinho Tande in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Dracena saved SE Palmeiras from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natanael Paraense during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Natanael Paraense hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Acilia Town got a freekick which was hit by He Le Ke. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Acilia Town had played much better football throughout.
